Free Waukesha, Washington Park Passes Over Mother's, Father's Day

Annual parks sticker holders from both counties will have free reciprocal park admissions on Mother's Day and Father's Day weekends.

WAUKESHA, WI — Officials in Washington and Waukesha Counties are working together this Spring to help families get the most out of their time outdoors by offering free admission to their own county parks for residents of the other county.

Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow and Washington County Administrator Joshua Schoemann said that annual parks sticker holders from both counties will have free reciprocal park admissions on Mother’s Day Weekend, May 12 and 13, and Father’s Day Weekend, June 16 and 17. The 2018 annual window sticker will need to be placed clearly on the vehicle.

“We are very excited about this collaboration between our counties,” said County Executive Farrow. “These reciprocal days are a great chance for park lovers to explore neighboring green spaces and recreational options.”
