Gold Attitude places 3rd at 2016 CSG Dance Nationals

The Gold Attitude Dance & Poms Select Team from Waukesha, WI placed 3rd in Junior Coed Jazz at the 2016 CSG Dance Nationals in Chicago, IL. The Select Team also placed 6th in Junior Pom Small. Along with our placement trophies, the Select Team received Bronze Bids to THE ONE Cheer & Dance Finals and the 2016 Festival of Champions. The Gold Attitude Select Team performed their two routines on Saturday & Sunday for a final result announced on Sunday. This was the final competition of the 2015-2016 season.

The competition started on Friday, March 11th with solos and small groups. Gold Attitude had 4 soloist and one small group. The Select Team Captain, Jordan Levene, and first year Select Team member, Emily Behrendt, placed 9th in the Junior Jazz Solo division. Select Team Leader, Madelynn Kelley, placed 11th in the Junior Lyrical Solo division. Select Team Leader, Leela Gilchrist, placed 2nd in the Youth Jazz Solo division. Our three captains, Jordan, Madelynn & Leela, placed 6th in the Junior Small Group division.

The Gold Attitude Dance & Poms Team is an independent, non-profit organization with two competition dance teams. The Select Team is open to Waukesha County students in 5th - 9th grade with at least one year of dance, cheer and/or gymnastic experience; the Petite Team is open to 3rd - 6th graders with little to NO experience. Both teams welcome girls AND boys.

The 2016-2017 Select Team auditions will take place on April 11, 12 & 14, 2016. The 2016-2017 Petite Team placements will take place on April 13, 2016.
