Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa Opens In Waukesha
When it comes down to it, owner Debbie Granger said it's all about creating a relaxing environment.
WAUKESHA, WI — Debbie Granger has always had a big interest in health and fitness, so when the former corporate executive saw an opportunity to pursue those interests in a new career, she took it.
"I have a big interest in health and wellness," she said. "I started looking into a change of career and opening a spa franchise.
Granger has opened a new Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa franchise in Waukesha, a premier spa that offers massages, facials, and a host of other services. It is located at 1166 W. Sunset Drive, Suite 129 in the Shoppes at Fox River.

"What's nice about Hand and Stone is that it's really more of a spa environment - we treat our clients like it's a relaxing spa day. We want to make sure we customize our experience for each client." lighting pressure temperature.. very relaxing a very spalike experience.
We offer massage facial and hair removal, though our signature massage is our hot stone massage, she said. "All our therapists licensed in Wisconsin."

The spa features a month-to-month membership program for the cost-conscious customer and features the Clarity and Dermalogica skin care lines. They are also open for people with busy work schedules.
"We are open quite a bit to accommodate different schedules. We have quite a few clients already who come in right at 9 p.m., who then come home and go right to sleep. Our schedule accommodates a lot of different lifestyles."
When it comes down to it, Granger said it's all about creating a relaxing environment — something that's in short supply in today's daily grind.
"When you walk in, the lights are dim to get you into that calm experience," she said. "The massage table is very inviting. It's a nice calm room with nice artwork on the walls. It's not like walking into a doctor's office."
