HAWS will be posting on our Facebook page ALL day long in hopes to inspire people to give back today, Giving Tuesday. Members of our staff, from each department will be spending portions of their day writing and providing pictures and information about what the public’s donations means to the shelter.
According to givingtuesday.org “We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 1, 2015, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.”
