High Praises for NFL Rookie from Waukesha County
J.J. Watt featured as top defensive rookie by ESPN writer.

Pewaukee High School and Wisconsin Badger defensive player J.J. Watt has been heavily praised this season as his work as an NFL rookie has been noticed by sports writers throughout the country.
The Houston Texans traditionally haven’t been seen as a big NFL threat. However, the team has a 6-3 winning record this season.
John Clayton from ESPN in his mid-season review of the NFL season had this to say about Watt’s work with the Texans:

Defensive rookie: J.J. Watt, DE, Houston Texans. One of the reasons the Texans went from among the worst to first on defense is Watt's performance at defensive end. He frees up Antonio Smith to pass rush from the other side, plus he's great against running plays
So how has Watt done halfway through the season? He has posted 29 tackles so far with two sacks. He has also recovered two fumbles – one in the first week against the Indianapolis Colts and one in the team’s most recent game against the Cleveland Browns.
