Ice Causes Accident on Roberta, Area Blocked Off

A patch of ice on Roberta led to a motorist striking a tree early Sunday, and authorities blocked the area off to prevent further accidents.
Waukesha police responded to the intersection of Downing Drive and E. Roberta Ave. at approximately 5:44 a.m. Sunday on a report of a property damage accident.
Police learned that a black Honda CRV struck a tree. Airbags were deployed in the crash and no injuries were reported as a result of the single-vehicle accident.
Authorities noted that on Roberta east of Downing was covered in ice, and barricades were deployed to re-route motorists of the hazard.

Noise Complaint on Pebble Valley

Police came out to an apartment unit on the 2600 block of Pebble Valley Road early Sunday after a report of loud music in the area.
According to the report, a neighboring apartment resident called police to report a noise complaint just after 4 a.m. Sunday.
Police arrived on the scene, and while they noted the apartment resident was "very intoxicated," they were nonetheless cooperative with police when they asked that he turn the music down.
