Integrative Medicine Clinic Opens with Expanded Services

Public Invited to Join Mayor Reilly for Friday’s Ribbon Cutting Celebration
(Waukesha) Plans were released today for Friday’s grand opening celebration for Acu-Med Integrative Medicine, Inc. at 1428 E Racine Avenue. Beginning at noon, the staff of the newly re-branded facility will offer free chair massages, foot scans, and trial acupuncture treatments to the public.
Owners Wade and Sunny Rex invite everyone to stop in for a tour and to explore the ways in which health and healing can be enhanced from an integrative medical approach. The staff of the clinic believe a patient’s health is optimized through a partnership with practitioners of both traditional and alternative approaches to care.

“It is not at all unusual for us to hear from patients how surprised they are to feel better than they ever imagined and how quickly results are noticed,” says Wade Rex, owner and doctor of oriental medicine.
Dr. Rex previously owned and operated the Acupuncture and Chinese Medical Center on Dolphin Drive, but decided to relocate and expand his practice to include chiropractic and physical therapy services.

The schedule for Friday’s activities include a ribbon cutting ceremony with Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly at 1 p.m.; a pig roast at 2 p.m.; and facility tours, free services, and prize drawings at 3 p.m. Among the list of raffle prizes are two lower level tickets to the Wisconsin Badgers home football game against South Florida on September 27.
New patients can also receive opening day deals for either a chiropractic consultation with digital x-ray and treatment or an acupuncture consultation with a report and treatment for just $69. In the front parking lot, Reaching Treetops Yoga will also be offering demonstrations of aerial yoga using silk hammocks.
Acu-Med Integrative Medicine will be open Monday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.; and Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. New patients and walk in customers are welcome. More information is available at (262) 832-8888 or online at www.AcuMedWI.com.
