Lau Leads In Fundraising For Circuit Court Seat

WAUKESHA, WI — According to campaign finance data, Laura Lau is leading the fundraising race in the Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge, Branch 12 contest.
Lau and her opponent, Jack Melvin III, are running to succeed Waukesha County Circuit Court Branch 12 Judge Kathryn Foster. Foster has served on the Waukesha County bench since 1988, and will not seek another six-year term. Election for this race is April 3.
According to the latest campaign finance reports, Lau raised $24,860. Lau raised $21,105 from 160
Waukesha County donors, excluding herself and family members. Her opponent, Jack Melvin, raised
$2,675 from 5 Waukesha County donors, excluding himself and family members. His total raised is
$15,176.57.
