Lenten Silent Labyrinth Walk Offered by First Baptist Church

Waukesha's downtown First Baptist Church, at Wisconsin and Grand Ave., is hosting a meditative, at-your-own-pace, prayer labyrinth.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha’s downtown First Baptist Church, at Wisconsin and Grand Ave., is hosting a meditative, at-your-own pace, prayer labyrinth experience on the evenings of Holy Week, Monday through Friday, March 26 to 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. The public is welcome; there is no charge.

“There is no right or wrong way to walk a labyrinth,” explained church member, Glen Lunde, who is coordinating the ancient prayer method event. “Some people come with questions, others just to slow down and take time out from a busy life to enjoy the meditative aspects of the walk.”

The labyrinth will be set-up in the street level dining room of the church, 247 Wisconsin Avenue, accessed easily through the main corner doors at the base of the city’s tallest steeple.
