Make a Splash: Waukesha Pools Hours

The Waukesha public swimming pools remain open today – weather permitting– and are an excellent way to beat the heat. The following hours and prices can be found on the City of Waukesha’s website.

Horeb Springs Aquatic Center

Horeb Springs Aquatic Center has open swim from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, from 12:30 to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Sundays.

Horeb Springs will also be open from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays for the zero-depth entry only. Sundays from 10 a.m. to noon will be family swim at the aquatic center.

The pool will  have modified hours during swim lessons. During June 20 to June 30, July 11 to July 21 and July 25 to Aug. 4, the pool will have open swim hours from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Buchner Park

Bucnher Park’s hours are similar to Horeb Springs with a few exceptions The exceptions are:

• Family swim, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays with open swim from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays, open swim
• Sunday’s family time from 10 a.m. to noon also includes adult lap swim.

Prices (Both Horeb Springs and Buchner)

• Children (1-17), $3.50 ($2.50 after 5 p.m.)
• Adults, $4.50 ($3.50 after 5 p.m.)
• Seniors, $1.50 ($1 after 5 p.m.)

Water Slide Fees and Hours

The water slide at Horeb Springs Aquatic Center has separate fees and hours for when the water slide will be available for use.

• 12:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 12:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Saturdays and 1:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Sundays $2.50
• 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, $1.50

Pools Close

• When summer comes to an end, Horeb Springs will close Aug. 31. It will re-open Sept. 3 through Sept. 5. It will close for the season at 6 p.m. Labor Day.
• Buchner Park will close Aug. 27. It will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 22 and Aug. 26.
