Waukesha Man Arrested After Car Collided With House: Report

WAUKESHA, WI -- Police in Waukesha say a 21-year-old Waukesha man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after the vehicle he was driving collided with a house.

According to Waukesha police reports, officers responded to the 300 block of N. East Ave. just after 7 a.m. on March 19 on a report of a car that collided with a residential building.

Reports stated that when officers arrived, they found the vehicle abandoned with blood on its trunk. Police quickly found the driver and were allowed into the house where he was lying injured.

Police say the 21-year-old man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and was taken into custody. The vehicle was towed to the police station so investigators could collect evidence in the case.
