Occupation:
Operations Area Manager
Place of Residence:
Town of Waukesha
Why I'm running:
I am running to restore civility to the Town Board and preserve the current low tax levy.
Top issues as I see them:
I have served the citizens of the Town of Waukesha as a town board member since 2014. In the last four years we have accomplished tax cuts, improvement in services and a 5 year capital plan. Much of this was done with a united board, but where differences were, there was open, thoughtful and civil debate. All options were discussed and respected; a vast and significant difference from what had taken place in the years preceding my election in 2014.
Over the past 18-24 months some relationships on the board have become fractured, augmentative and counterproductive. Open bickering and personal attacks have again become commonplace among various members of the board. I believe that again I have the skill set to restore civility among members of the board. Now with over 33 years of experience working in a union environment - more than 20 year of that in corporate management - I believe I can restore open, constructive and productive debate among members of the board.
