Meli Restaurant Says Goodbye To Waukesha For Good

WAUKESHA, WI —After four years as a fixture in Downtown Waukesha, Meli Bar and Restaurant closed its doors for good.

The restaurant, located at 294 W. Main Street, was a popular American, Greek and Mediterranean restaurant.

In a May 10 Facebook post, owner Llazar Konda broke the news: "This weekend will be our last weekend here at Meli, as I know many of you will be sad with this news, I personally am looking forward to my new chapter and my new adventures! I hope you all can share in my excitement! I want to thank you for all the love and support you have given me and Meli family in this fantastic 4 years, I couldn’t have done it without you! I am very proud of my accomplishment and I promise you the next adventure will be even better!"
