New Berlin Eisenhower to Perform 'Steel Magnolias' Oct. 21-22
The New Berlin Eisenhower theater program is excited for this year's theatrical season that begins with "Steel Magnolias" Oct. 21-22.

The New Berlin Eisenhower Theater Family is excited for this year’s theatrical season entitled, “A Season of Family,” which kicks off with performances of Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias, Oct. 21-22.
“Each show in ‘A Season of Family’ explores its own concept of family,” said Eisenhower theater director Natalie Baertschy. “Some are those we are born into; some are those we make for ourselves. Our families, regardless of origin, are our champions in the best of times but also our greatest support system in the worst of times.”
In Steel Magnolias, six women, with six very different stories, share laughter, love, life, and loss in their favorite living room – the garage turned beauty shop nestled in a small Louisiana parish. These women celebrate the joys of a wedding, the miraculous birth of a baby, new found relationships, but also a mother’s grief after the tragic loss of her daughter. When words fail, the silence of their sisterhood provides.
