David Lynn Harsany, Sr. of Waukesha, died on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at The Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 65. He was born in Pontiac, MI, on April 2, 1947. He was adopted six months later by Steven and Bernice Harsany. As a young boy David moved to Waukesha where he has since resided.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Carole Sullivan of Waukesha, his son David, Jr. (Lisa) Harsany of Oconomowoc, his step-children Russell Sullivan of Waukesha and Colleen Sullivan of Fond du Lac, his mother Bernice Nixdorf of Sheboygan and his sister Cheryl Cihale of Sheboygan. He is further survived by four step-granddaughters Shawna Kullas of Bayview, Amanda Kiepert of Milwaukee, Victoria Kiepert of Milwaukee and Samantha of West Allis, six step-great-grandchildren and very special longtime friend Rose of Fort Atkinson. He was preceded in death by his father.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, the nurses of ProHealth Home Care and everyone at the Virginia Health and Rehabilitation Center for their extra help and caring.
