Obituary: David William Howard

David William Howard of Waukesha and Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly in Aranas Pass, Texas, on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2012, at the age of 66.

David was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Feb. 8, 1945, the son of Ralph and Doris (nee Wiesenburg) Howard. He married Marian (nee Kempka) on May 8, 1976. David proudly served the City of Milwaukee as a firefighter for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Milwaukee Firefighters Union and was an avid golfer.

David will be dearly missed by his wife, Marian of 35 years; his father, Ralph Howard of Milwaukee; his brother-in-law, Gene Kempka; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. David was preceded in death by his mother; and his brother, Dennis.

A visitation for David will be from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, Deacon Gene Kempka will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
