
Dorothy A. Horner died Friday, March 29, 2013, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, at the age of 78. Dorothy was born Jan. 3, 1935, the daughter of Alois and E. Beatrice Schneider.
She was a long-time resident of Waukesha, graduating from Waukesha High School and Alverno College in Milwaukee. Dorothy served for many years as an accountant at firms in Waukesha and Milwaukee.
Dorothy's greatest interests were music, especially the flute and organ, and spending time with family.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Robin (Becky) Drout, David (Jennifer) Drout, Rex (Mary) Horner, Scott Horner, Bruce Horner, and Todd (Mary) Horner; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Michelle), Maria, Pamela, Matthew, Lori, Thomas, Allison, Kara (Andrew), Nichole (John), Kimberly, and Kalina; two great-grandchildren, Noah and Hunter; and a sister, Marian Stahovic. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death her husband, Jack "Fred" Horner; a granddaughter, Erica; and her parents.

The funeral service for Dorothy will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the e, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will immediately follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
