Obituary: Dorothy I. Falk

Funeral services for Waupun woman will be held in Waukesha.

Dorothy I. Falk, of Waupun, passed away at Marvin’s Manor Assisted living after a short illness.

She was born in North Freedom, Wisconsin, on May 5, 1926, daughter of Chauncey and Irene Hitchcock. In August of 1952, Dorothy married Roy Falk. She spent her adult life as a Waukesha county farm wife and mother. Dorothy took great pride in her work. She enjoyed gardening, reading and needle point. Her greatest joy was caring for her family. 

Dorothy is survived by her son, Ted (Julianna) Trevorrow ; grandson, Daniel Trevorrow; granddaughters, Tamara (Daniel) Klawitter,  Dawn ( Joel) Benz; great-grandchildren, Dominic Trevorrow, Kristina Schuldt, Hailey Schuldt, Ashley Klawitter, and  Riley Benz; niece, Tracey ( Don) Wilson; and nephew, Kevin (Julie) Jackson. Dorothy is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Falk, parents, brother, Kenneth Hitchcock, and sister, Barbara Jackson.

The visitation for Dorothy will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1941 Madison St., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Reverend Michael Turriff will be officiating. Burial will be held at Salem Cemetery, Wales, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice are appreciated. 

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Marvin’s Manor for their loving and attentive care of Dorothy during her residency.
