Obituary: Ronald A. 'Ron' Wagner

Ronald A. “Ron” Wagner, of Waukesha, died after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at his home at the age of 65.

He was born in Milwaukee on May 9, 1946, the son of William and Lucille Wagner.  Ron recently retired from the Marek Group after 34 years.  Along with his son he enjoyed many years of fishing and hunting and also enjoyed traveling with his family.

He will be forever missed by his wife of four years, Lulu of Waukesha, and their children, Ron (Sara) Wagner of Waukesha and Cheryl (Andrew) Karklus of Waukesha, and three grandchildren, Anthony, Lauren and Christian.  He is further survived by his brother William Wagner and his sister LuAnne, his sisters-in-law Arlene (Don) Scherf and Donna Schmidt, brother-in-law Jeff Italiano along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan, 26, 2012, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at , 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
