He was born on June 10, 1931, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Fred and Mabel (nee Kneuse) Schroeckenthaler.  Ron proudly served in the U.S. Marines.  He was a member of Plumbers Local Union No. 75 and a Master Plumber for Emil Leuzinger Company, working primarily at Wisconsin Centrifugal and retired in 1994.  He enjoyed coaching baseball for Pewaukee’s Little League and Wisconsin Centrifugal’s Youth Baseball Team.  Ron has been an active and longtime member of St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church where he was an usher.

After retirement Ron was able to enjoy golf, partnering with his friend, Karl Meyers, most of the time.  He also did side plumbing jobs with his brothers and friends.  Ron was great at the stock market, and he and Patricia would travel once a year to different locations.  Most of all he loved being around his family.
