From Olives To Oil® Celebrates First Anniversary Sept. 21

Event at "try before you buy" olive oil and balsamic vinegar store will feature giveaways, in-store specials, food samples and new flavors!

Brookfield, Wis. – From Olives to Oil®, Brookfield’s premier outlet for “try before you buy” olive oils and balsamic vinegars, will celebrate its first anniversary Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with customer appreciation giveaways, specials and an open market of local businesses in its nearby plaza.

All customers visiting From Olives to Oil®, 17125C W. Bluemound Road (CVS Plaza/Guitar Center), will receive a free lip balm. All purchases of at least $5 will earn a free 4-ounce bottle of Greek extra virgin olive oil (EVOO). Customers can enjoy food samples from the store’s cookbook, desserts and a beverage made with balsamic vinegar - proving that there’s always something new at From Olives to Oil®.

The open plaza fronting From Olives to Oil® (near Guitar Center) will transform into an open market of Brookfield-based small businesses from 1 to 3 p.m., offering customers an opportunity to meet neighbors who double as entrepreneurs. The market is open to all small businesses in the Brookfield area.

“The local community has warmly welcomed From Olives to Oil®, and we are thrilled to celebrate a wonderfully successful first year with our customers and business supporters,” said Lori Hass, owner of From Olives to Oil® and herself a Brookfield resident. “We have received tremendous positive feedback, which guided us to expand our selections of oils, balsamics and foods. We strive to offer products not typically available in other stores, and instruction on using them to enjoy a more flavorful life.”

The source for nearly all From Olives to Oil® balsamic vinegars, EVOOs and nut oils is a fourth-generation producer in Lazzio, Italy. The store carries many locally-produced food and health products. In addition to in-person purchases, all products can be ordered via the From Olives to Oil® web site.

From Olives to Oil® occupies space that formerly housed The Oilerie® Brookfield. Hass worked at the business during its entire 10-year run, finishing as manager. Betsy Belongia, another longtime employee who has authored dozens of recipes using EVOOs and balsamic vinegars, continues to serve customers at From Olives to Oil®.

From Olives to Oil® rotates seasonal flavors of EVOOs and balsamics into its more than 40 tasting tanks. The Sept. 21 event will introduce maple bourbon balsamic, plus teriyaki and strawberry balsamics. A quintet of white balsamic summer flavors will remain available for a limited time.
