Woman Locks Self in Bedroom From Man Who Hurt Her

Waukesha police responded to the 1600 block of Aldoro Drive on a report of a domestic disturbance in which a husband struck his wife in the face.
The apparent victim in the case reported to police that the husband raised his cane to her, and at the time of the police call, had locked herself in the bedroom.
The report stated that the husband was at the bedroom door trying to get in at the time of the call. Within minutes, police were on scene and took the man into custody. The woman was transported to the Waukesha Memorial Hospital emergency room for treatment.

An apparent package thief reportedly couldn't tell police what was going on - even after he was confronted by an area resident after he tried walking off with her package.
Waukesha police responded to the 1200 block of Summit Ave. just after 11:30 a.m. on a report that an older white male with a mustache was stealing packages as he walked east.
A woman confronted the suspected package stealer after he tried stealing her package. He gave it back, and the woman called police.
Police reported that the man walked into Christina's Restaurant a short time later, where he was met by police.
According to the report, the man denied taking the package, but couldn't recall whether he did or not.
No criminal complaint was wished by the woman who called police.
