PATCH REPORT: The State of Waukesha School Suspension/Expulsion Rates

We crunched the numbers by school, and by incident type to show you how Waukesha school suspension/expulsion rates compare statewide.

WAUKESHA -- It goes without saying that a safe school district is a benefit to the students, parents, teachers and the community.

As the 2016 school year gets underway, we crunched the numbers to find out how one small piece of the puzzle - student suspensions and expulsions - looks for the Waukesha School District.

For almost everybody, there is good news. Waukesha had a 1.5 percent suspension rate in 2014-15 (the most recent data available). That rate was the lowest in the last five years.
