Man Arrested In Assault Of Children Dating Back Years: Sheriff
Investigators in Racine and Waukesha Counties are asking any victims or those who may know victims to come forward.

PEWAUKEE, WI — A Pewaukee man was arrested Tuesday in connection with multiple charges of first-degree child sexual assault, police announced on Thursday.
Police said James Wicht, 51, gained access to the victims with illegitimate physical exams. Investigators believe Wicht has assaulted multiple children for years, according to a news release from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.
Racine Police and Waukesha Sheriff's deputies conducted the search warrant that led to Wicht's arrest in Pewaukee, according to the release.

Online court records show Wicht was charged in connection with four counts of first degree child sexual assault - sexual contact with person under age of 13, two counts of child abuse-intentionally cause harm and one count of child sexual exploitation.
