Pewaukee Nursing Executive Receives High Industry Honors for Health Care Leadership
Cancer Treatment Centers of America® at Midwestern Regional Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer recognized by Becker's Hospital Review

Becker’s Hospital Review recently named Jacklynn Lesniak, MS, BSN, RN, senior vice president of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer for Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA) at Midwestern Regional Medical Center (Midwestern) in suburban Chicago, to its 2015 list of Women hospital and health systems leaders to know.
The list recognizes female executives nation-wide who have “established themselves as successful leaders within the ever-changing healthcare industry.” The Becker’s editorial team reviewed a record number of nominations in 2015, recognizing women with the highest management and leadership skills and career accomplishments. Lesniak was one of 12 female health care executives in Illinois to receive this acknowledgement.

For more than 25 years, Lesniak’s strategic leadership has driven success at various health care organizations. Since joining CTCA at Midwestern in 2013, the hospital achieved Magnet® Recognition for excellence in nursing. In addition, she supports other designated patient care areas to provide seamless care delivery that is responsive to patient and caregiver needs.
In 2015, Lesniak led the transformation of CTCA at Midwestern inpatient care units, which underwent a 168-078 square-foot expansion. Her contributions to both the physical and the “invisible” architecture of the expansion included increasing time at the bedside through enhanced technology to ensure a state-of-the-art patient experience.
