Police Called After Waukesha Man Sews Mouth Shut With Needle and Thread

The report stated that police were asked to check the man out and that the man was not violent, but "just acting strange."

WAUKESHA -- Waukesha police were dispatched to the Salvation Army building, 445 Madison, St. on a report of a male in his early 20s engaging in self-harming activities.

According to the report, the man sewed his mouth shut with needle and thread.

Police made contact with the young male just before 2:30 p.m. Friday. According to the report, while the young man admitted he tried to give himself piercing to gain "swag," officers were unable to find any injuries of any kind.
