Registration Opens For 'Before the Bump'

WAUKESHA, WI -- The organizers of a new women's health program that begins this month have opened registration.

Before the Bump: Your Journey to a Healthy Pregnancy will take place at The Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee, WI on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019.

Attendees will have the chance to learn information from Waukesha-area OBGYNs, fertility specialists, acupuncturists, and more. The event will kick-off with Anti-Mullerian Hormone testing offered at 7 a.m. - a simple screening that tests the protein hormone produced by cells within the ovary.

Organizers say the test helps assess ovarian egg reserve and therefore, a woman’s fertility level. Keynote speakers will begin sessions at 8 a.m., along with a Bump Boutique featuring area vendors, and prize giveaways including a chance to win a free IVF cycle.

“When women and men are in the early stages of planning a family, they have many questions on how to best prepare both physically and mentally,” said Josie Patla, Executive Director for Moreland OB-GYN & Associates. “Whether you’re actively trying to conceive or just want to learn more about your fertility health and wellness, Before the Bump is an event that will provide essential information and guidance.”

Registration for Before the Bump: Your Journey to a Healthy Pregnancy is now open and tickets can be purchased for $40 for admission, or $60 for admission and AMH testing.
