Milwaukee Area Weekend Weather Forecast: Get Out There

If you have lawn work to do, or just want to get outside for a bike ride or hike, the weather is going to cooperate with outdoor plans.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Get your rakes and garden tools out of the shed, or make sure your bicycle is in good order. Or just plan some other outdoor activity for Saturday, the pick day of the weekend.

Skies will be mostly sunny Saturday and it will be warmer than Friday’s expected high of 54. The sun is expected to disappear by Sunday, when here’s a slight chance of a thunderstorm on Sunday. Temperatures will fairly pleasant, though Saturday will be windy, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63; south wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Saturday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 52; south wind around 10 mph.

Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1p.m.; mostly cloudy, with a high near 66; south wind 10 to 15 mph. Sunday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. South wind 10 to 15 mph.
