Sam Llanas to Headline Special Carl Zach Cycling Classic Concert
Sam Llanas, formerly of the BoDeans, will headline a concert taking place as part of the Carl Zach Cycling Classic. Details:

WAUKESHA, WI — Sam Llanas, formerly of the BoDeans, will headline a concert taking place as part of the Carl Zach Cycling Classic on Sun. June 18, 2017 at the Les Paul Performance Center in Cutler Park, 321 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha.
The concert will take place 5:00 to 7:00 pm during a full day of international cycle racing from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. taking place in downtown Waukesha.
Llanas will rock the Les Paul Performance Center in Cutler Park, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sun. following the opening act, “Stray Voltage,” headed up by Waukesha City Attorney, Brian Running, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In addition, free tree climbing will take place in Cutler Park with Treetop Explorers from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Beverage concessions will be for sale by the Park Foundation of Waukesha in cooperation with Raised Grain Brewing and food concessions will be offered by the award-winning “Firewise Barbeque Company.”
The Races

Races will run in a clockwise direction starting just west of Couri Insurance, 379 W. Main St., head east, turn south on Clinton Ave., east on Wisconsin Ave., south on N. Grand Ave., west on Carroll St., south on Maple Ave., west on Wisconsin Ave., north on West Ave., then east on Main St. back to the start/finish line.
Races include Masters and Category two through four, Men and Women. New this year, the Hand Cycling Classic will culminate at the Carl Zach Cycling Classic. Race begins at 5:40 p.m. The Women’s Pro Race begins at 5:00 p.m. and the Men’s Pro Race begins at 7:00 p.m.
As part of the Carl Zach Cycling Classic, WPRF, together with the Friends of the Parks, will sponsor the Kiddie Klassic, a children’s bicycle race taking place at 6:00 p.m. Children ages 6 to 9 must be registered and wear a helmet.
