Stack Of Tires Blamed For False Alarm, Police Response

When a stack of tires fell over at Tires Plus Wednesday night, it forced a door open and sounded an alarm, police reported.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Police in Waukesha say a stack of tires falling against a door was the likely culprit that sounded an alarm Wednesday night.

According to police reports, several squads were called to the Tires Plus on the 1000 block of Spring City Drive just before 11 p.m. on a report of a motion alarm that went off inside the business.

Police reports indicated that several squads were dispatched to the business, which was closed at the time. Police staged next door a the Icombat laser tag venue.

After a check of the building, police reported that a door to the business that was open was likely caused by a stack of tires falling against it, police noted.
