Tick-tock! Time is running out to enroll in virtual school
The upcoming deadline to enroll in Wisconsin Connections Academy is approaching.
The upcoming deadline to enroll in Wisconsin Connections Academy, one of the state’s first tuition-free, virtual charter school, is approaching. Any families who wish to enroll have until April 28 at 4 p.m. to complete an enrollment application.
Students who have attended Wisconsin Connections Academy have found that virtual school has given them the ability to maximize their potential and thrive in an environment that is uniquely their own. WCA provides a rigorous curriculum while balancing flexibility with accountability.
WCA middle school math teacher Jesse MacDonald explains, “I enjoy using new technology and trying out things that can help students learn. The benefit of teaching at an online school is that I get to work with students on a more individual basis. I get to know what the goals are for students and their families. An education at WCA really challenges students. The content can be very difficult at times, but we have the flexibility to allow students to take more time on some lessons.”
