Waukesha Adds One Day To School Calendar Because of Closures
School officials in Waukesha have scheduled a make-up day to make up the days off we had this week from snow and record cold temps.

WAUKESHA, WI -- After a week of snow and record-cold temperatures closed Waukesha public schools for multiple days, it looks like the worst of it is finally behind us.
As students returned to school Friday, Feb. 1, the district sent a note to families to let parents know that to make up for the days off, the district will now hold classes on Monday, June 10.
Terry Schuster, Director of Public Relations and Communication with the Waukesha Public School District says the district builds three snow days into its annual calendar - but that Thursday's closure was the fourth ... and required the addition of one day to the yearly calendar.
