WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha County Parks is hosting a volunteer tree planting event on Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to noon in Fox River Park to celebrate Arbor Day.
Residents and groups are invited to help reforest and enhance the park. Fox River Park is located at W264S4500 River Rd., Waukesha.
“Planting trees not only enhances our public spaces, we’ll also be leaving a legacy for Waukesha County residents to enjoy for years to come,” said County Executive Paul Farrow. “Adding trees to county lands in honor of Arbor Day is one of my favorite traditions.”
