Waukesha Fire Department Open House is Saturday, Oct. 8

Waukesha Fire Department will once again be hosting an Open House in conjunction with the department's annual Fire Prevention Week

WAUKESHA --- The City of Waukesha Fire Department will once again be hosting an Open House in conjunction with the department's annual Fire Prevention Week activities on Sat. Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. - NOON.

The open house will take place at Fire Station No. 5, Summit Ave.

Members of the City of Waukesha Fire Department will provide tours of the building and equipment will be on display at the station.

Waukesha's Flight for Life helicopter crew will also be present for the open house if they are available and not assisting in life-saving duties.

The helicopter is scheduled to land at approximately 10 a.m. and tours would be conducted by the crew of Flight for Life.

The public is invited to stop by any of the department's other fire stations to request a tour if staff is available.
