WAUKESHA, WI -- Halloween was a extra-special for a Waukesha family on Wednesday evening after they got an unexpected visitor.

Hope Wachendorf was walking with her husband Adam, and their daughters Kennedy and Raegen and their grandmother when a firetruck pulled up to them.

As they watched what was unfolding before them near the intersection of Stardust Dr. and Rustic Way, a firefighter jumped out of the passenger seat, opened the door behind him and was handed a bucket of candy, which in turn he gave to the girls.

"Their buckets were very full, so Raegen decided to collect her candy with her hands," Wachendorf said.
