Waukesha Neighborhood Beer Garden Schedule Announced

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha Neighborhood Beer Gardens will take place Thurs., Aug. 17 through Sun., Aug. 20, 2017 in Rivers Crossing Park, 3703 Rivers Crossing Dr., and Thurs., Aug. 24 through Sun., Aug. 27, 2017 in Bethesda Park, 560 Dunbar Ave.

Neighborhood Beer Gardens will offer Sprecher Brewing Co. products, food, and live music throughout the weekend. The event is free and open to the public with no entrance or parking fees.

“We had a great turnout for last year’s Oktoberfest celebration,” said Waukesha Mayor, Shawn Reilly. “The Neighborhood Beer Gardens are a chance for neighbors to have that same great experience on a smaller scale in our neighborhood parks.”

An additional feature of each Neighborhood Beer Garden will be the Wurst Beer Biathlon taking place on Thurs. Aug. 17 and 24, and Sat. Sept. 23 as part of the Oktoberfest celebration. Runners ages 21 and older compete in the biathlon by running or walking and at the end, enjoying a beer.

Children of registered runners will have the opportunity to run at no charge. Registration is available at http://silvercirclesportsevents.com/wurst-beer-biathlon

Hours of the Waukesha Neighborhood Beer Gardens for Rivers Crossing Park and Bethesda Park are Thur. and Fri., 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sat. and Sun. 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
