Waukesha Panera Bread Now Has Planned Open Date

In June, it was announced Panera would be part of development underway at the Shoppes at Fox River ... here's when it's planning to open.

WAUKESHA - We've heard back from the owners of The Shoppes at Fox River regarding the opening date for the Waukesha Panera Bread, and they said plans are to open it later this year.

"Currently, the opening is planned for late November/early December. Keep in mind, this is a planned date and the actual opening date could change for a variety of reasons," Dawn L. Hendershot, Vice President Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for the shopping center, told Patch.com

We had been waiting to hear some news from Panera, Fox River Shoppes and the city on what's happening with plans for a Panera Bread in Waukesha.

In June, multiple media outlets reported that Waukesha residents interested in dining at Panera Bread may soon get their wish.

According to a Waukesha Freeman report at the time, the time may have finally come with the restaurant famous for its bread, pastries, sandwiches and soups planned for the Shoppes at Fox River.
The Freeman report said that Community Development Director Jennifer Andrews confirmed Panera will be part of the phase of development underway at the Shoppes at Fox River on the western edge of Sunset Drive.
