Waukesha Releases Adjusted Trash Pickup Schedule
After a week of weather woes, Advance Disposal will be picking up trash in Waukesha using this adjusted schedule:

WAUKESHA, WI -- After a rough week of weather, Advanced Disposal will be making up for the recycling collections that were missed due to extremely cold temperatures and challenging weather. To accommodate this, the City of Waukesha released the following changes to the trash collection schedule:
Monday, Feb. 4: Monday Garbage / Monday Route A recycling and Monday Route B recycling misses from Jan. 28.
Tuesday, Feb. 5: Tuesday and Wednesday Garbage / Tuesday Route A and B recycling and Wednesday Route A and B recycling. All items will need to be out by 6 a.m. on Tuesday. Please leave out your recycling bin until it is collected. It might not be collected until Thursday as Advanced attempts to get to everyone.
Wednesday, Feb. 6: Items needed to be out Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 6 a.m. – see above.
Thursday, Feb. 7: Thursday Garbage / Thursday Route A recycling – normal schedule
Friday, Feb. 8: Friday Garbage/ Friday Route A recycling- normal schedule
In addition, for those who had garbage pick-ups missed this week, Advanced will collect extra garbage bags placed outside of the garbage bin. Services will return to the regular schedule the week of Feb. 11, city officials said.
