PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Monday, May 17, 2021) – On Monday evening, May 24, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., Richard Barnhouse, Ph.D., president of Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC), will host a virtual presidential town hall meeting for members of the Waukesha community.

Barnhouse, who joined WCTC as president in January, is hoping to hear from Waukesha residents and taxpayers about their needs, wants and ideas for a modern college. The forum will be an opportunity for Barnhouse to share updates about WCTC, but the majority of time will be dedicated to community members to ask questions.
“I want members of the community to know that I’m really here to serve their needs and ensure that we’re being good stewards of their taxpayer dollars,” he said. “We are focused on doing what’s right for the taxpayers and this community, and to deliver a skilled workforce.”

In April, Barnhouse held internal town hall meetings for WCTC faculty and staff, and he hopes to do the same for the greater Waukesha community on an annual basis – with future yearly meetings to be held in person.
The May 24 moderated town hall will be structured as a Zoom meeting. To access the link, visit www.wctc.edu for more information, or click the following meeting link directly:
