Radio
Milwaukee’s WTMJ (620 AM), airing Green Bay games since November 1929, heads up the Packers Radio Network that is made up of 50 stations in five states. Wayne Larrivee (play-by-play) and two-time Packers Pro Bowler Larry McCarren (analyst) call the action.
5 Things To Watch While Watching
1) The Lions have been beset by injuries already, and starting running back Ameer Abdullah is out for at least 8 weeks. That means backup Theo Riddick and a committee of backups including Dwayne Washington and Zach Zenner handle the load against the Packers.
2) Aaron Rodgers has been struggling. Last week Green Bay's quarterback was 20-of-36 passing for one touchdown, one interception and three fumbles (one lost) in a 17-14 loss against Minnesota.
3) The Lions are 3-11 in games started by Rodgers, and the Packers have won 17 of the last 21 against Detroit and 25 of the last 31 in the series.
4) NFL referee Carl Cheffers will be on the field this Sunday. Cheffers was the referee on the field on Dec. 3 during the famous "Rogers to Rodgers Hail Mary Game." Detroit thought they won the game only to have Cheffers' crew throw a penalty flag on the last play of the game on the Lions for a face mask violation. And the rest was history.
5) If you're a betting person, Odds Shark, an online gambling and sports booking site has the Packers as 8-point favorites. Each of ESPN's panel of experts have Green Bay winning the game.
