A Virtual Town Hall is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30 p.m. for 5th District U.S. House of Representatives Congressional Candidate, Tom Palzewicz. The event is specifically for women of the 5th Congressional District to ask the candidate questions on issues that matter most to them. The event was intended to be a debate between Democratic candidate Tom Palzewicz and Republican candidate Scott Fitzgerald; however, Fitzgerald’s campaign did not respond to the invitation.

The town hall is sponsored by Persist: Progressive Women Activists of Washington County, Women Activists of Lake Country (WALC), and PerSISTERS of Wauwatosa. These grassroots organizations educate, empower, build community, and mobilize women in southeastern Wisconsin around political, economic, and social issues. Following the town hall, each organization will independently determine whether to formally endorse Tom Palzewicz.
