10-Month-Old Twins Abducted in Carjacking Saturday Afternoon
A woman who left her running vehicle to go into a house on Milwaukee's north side, came out to find that her car - and children - missing.

MILWAUKEE -- A woman who left her running vehicle to go into a house on Milwaukee's north side on Saturday afternoon, came out to find that her car - and the children inside - were missing.
It happened at approximately 3 p.m. near 49th Street and Concordia Avenue. During the brief moment that the woman went inside - we don't know exactly how long it was - a suspect took the vehicle, which had the woman's 10-month old twins inside.
An amber alert had been issued Saturday afternoon on a report that the children were abducted in the apparent carjacking. The car was a newer-model grey crossover-style vehicle. The amber alert was called off after the car, and the children, were located.

According to a WTMJ report, police found the vehicle was found an hour later in an alley near 40th Street and North Avenue with the children inside. Officials said the children were unharmed but were taken to the hospital as a precaution. There are no suspects in custody.
