85-Year-Old Robbed by Gang of Five, Youngest Was 13 Years Old

Milwaukee police arrested five suspects, including a 13-year-old, for their role in an armed robbery on Milwaukee's Northwest Side.

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police arrested five suspects, including a 13-year-old, for their role in an armed robbery on Milwaukee’s Northwest Side.

The officers responded to the 3200 block of N. 52nd Street around 5:15 p.m. on October 10 for a report of an armed robbery.

The victim, an 85-year-old Milwaukee man, said five individuals armed with sticks robbed him of money and fled.

About six blocks away in the 3800 block of N. 53rd Street, officers saw five individuals that matched the description given by the victim.

Those suspects, a 13-year-old male, a 15-year-old male, a 17-year-old male, a 28-year-old male, and a 17-year-old female, were all taken into custody.

Milwaukee will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.

Citizen helps police arrest two teens in Oct. 10 armed robbery

With the help of an alert citizen, the Milwaukee Police Department arrested two teenagers wanted in an attempted armed robbery on the North Side.

Officers responded to the 300 block of E. Capitol Drive around 4:10 p.m. on October 10 and met with the victim, a 59-year-old woman. The woman told officers she was walking to her car when two females approached her, grabbed her purse, and shoved her to the ground.

The suspects were scared off by a car that came into the parking lot and they ran off. A witness informed officers the suspects had run into a nearby store.

The suspects, a 15-year-old female from West Allis and a 15-year-old female from Milwaukee, were located and taken into custody. MPD will present this case to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
