• 'Sand, dirt, debris': Inside Milwaukee-area schools' yearlong flood recovery (wuwm.com) — Flooding last summer caused about $1 million in damage across several Wauwatosa schools, with Wauwatosa West High School hit hardest as river levels and road construction funneled water inside. District staff describe how they've repaired buildings, fixed problem spots like sump pumps and drains, and are trying to better protect local classrooms from increasingly intense storms.
   

• Wauwatosa bank robbery, suspect arrested in Milwaukee (fox6now.com) — Wauwatosa police say a 33-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested in connection with Saturday's robbery at the PNC Bank at 124th and North, where a suspect demanded cash and fled. Investigators used evidence and a search warrant in Milwaukee to recover items and make the arrest, and they're still asking anyone with information to contact Wauwatosa Police or Crime Stoppers.
