The video, though partially obscured during the shooting itself, has intensified debate between the police union and Smith's family while the Milwaukee County District Attorney reviews the case.
   

• Police catch 'career criminal' on the run, wanted for burglaries (wisn.com) — Wauwatosa homeowners can take some comfort knowing a man accused of a long string of suburban home burglaries, including in Wauwatosa, has been captured in Minnesota after 18 months on the run. Police say Joseph Levenhagen faces burglary charges in multiple Wisconsin counties and is suspected in at least a dozen Milwaukee-area break-ins, with extradition back to Wisconsin expected after his Minnesota case.
