Each year the City of Wauwatosa receives assistance from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development in the form of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The primary objective of the CDBG program is the development of viable urban communities by providing opportunities for housing, a safe living environment, and expanded economic opportunities to, principally, low or moderate income persons.

The CDBG program funds local community development, such as projects that serve seniors, offer preventative health, or provide services for people with disabilities.

We are seeking applications for CDBG-eligible projects. If your organization is interested in receiving a Community Development Block Grant, please submit a completed application to the Development Department, Wauwatosa City Hall, 7725 W. North Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI 53213 by August 31, 2021. You can also submit your application electronically to tplanning@wauwatosa.net.
