The Irish Fest Summer School features classes that showcase the rich culture, history and traditions of Ireland and Irish America, past and present. Come learn to play the Irish fiddle, flute, tin whistle, guitar, harp, Celtic music styles, and more from master musicians. Or take a discussion class and learn about Irish history, Irish language, and culture! Our Celtic arts classes offer hands-on learning for everyone! The Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School is part of CelticMKE.
The class schedule is organized into three start dates:
Monday through Wednesday Evening Classes (6:30-8:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
Tuesday through Thursday Day Classes (9:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm start times on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Tuesday through Thursday Celtic Kids Camp (9:30am start time on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Friday Morning Sampler and Workshop Classes (9am and 10:45am start times, Friday only)

Celebrate the end of Summer School evening activities with a night of traditional music, song, dance, and community crafts at the CelticMKE Center!
The annual Grand Session is the official capstone to our Milwaukee Irish Fest Summer School evening schedule. We’re opening up the building for an immersive, multi-room gathering that brings together students, instructors, local musicians, dancers, crafters, and Irish music enthusiasts.
Whether you're looking to play in a session, dance a set, work on a craft project, or simply sit back with a drink and enjoy the music, all are welcome.
Schedule &amp; Highlights
<ul><li>7:00 PM — Grand Session (Great Hall) The music kicks off in the Great Hall with a open, continuous session featuring traditional tunes from students, faculty, and visiting musicians.</li><li>8:15 PM — Dedicated Song Session (Ward Irish Music Archives) Head up to the Archives on the second floor for a cozy song session in Irish and English.</li><li>8:15 PM — Open Set Dancing (Great Hall Stage) Lace up your dance shoes! The Great Hall stage opens up for set dancers to move along to the live session tunes.</li><li>Purls &amp; Pints Knitting Table (Great Hall) Hosted by <a href="https://www.purlsandpints.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Purls and Pints</a>, crafters are invited to bring their current knitting or crochet projects, gather around the table, and craft along to the live music.</li></ul>

🌊 Paddle Board Yoga on Pewaukee Lake 🌿
Join Caitlin Moyer this summer for a peaceful (and playful) SUP Yoga experience with Paddle Pewaukee!

If you’ve never tried paddle board yoga before—this is your sign. It’s beginner-friendly, fun, and all about enjoying time on the water while moving, breathing, and finding balance.
Your $31.50 registration includes your paddleboard, paddle rental, and yoga class. Everything you need will be ready for you when you arrive.
We’ll start at the dock where staff will get you set up with your board, paddle, and life jacket. From there, we’ll paddle out together to a calmer area of the lake, anchor in, and flow through a grounding yoga practice surrounded by nature.
Expect a lighthearted, supportive experience—yes, falling in happens sometimes, and yes, it’s part of the fun. The water is shallow and the experience is designed to be safe, welcoming, and accessible for all levels.
⏰ Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and setup. 🧘‍♀️ Space is limited to 18 participants—advance registration is required. 📄 Waivers are completed through Paddle Pewaukee prior to class.

On Saturday, August 15, from 1:00-2:30 p.m., meet painter Mary Patscot Rocha and photographer Patrick Zettel and enjoy an afternoon under the shady forest canopy.
Come explore the artwork, read or listen to the artists’ reflections, and discover how Mary and Patrick found inspiration in all that trees provide. Through painting and photography, their work invites us to look more closely and reflect on the many ways trees support wildlife, provide useful materials, inspire creativity, and contribute to our health and well-being.

Legally Blonde the Musical, Jr.

Several years ago, Master Bespoke Tailor Eric W. Stiles Sr. taught professional online fashion classes through 61 colleges across the United States and 2 colleges in Canada. The college serving your community was one of those institutions, giving local residents the opportunity to study professional sewing, tailoring, garment construction, pattern making, alterations, and other specialized fashion skills.
As the nationwide program continued to grow, Mr. Stiles stepped away from online teaching to redesign the program and make it more affordable and accessible. Those classes are now returning through EWS Fashion Academy, with Online Mini-Courses beginning September 12, 2026. Unlike the previous college-sponsored program, students now register directly through the Academy, and most Mini-Course sessions are just $17.00.
With more than four decades of experience, advanced training with Brioni in Italy, professional work with Brioni, Giorgio Armani, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Tom Ford, and teaching both online and live at 11 Illinois colleges, Mr. Stiles continues to bring professional fashion education to students everywhere.
