Challenge Island® expands to New Berlin Elementary Schools
Fast-growing children's STEAM education franchise, Challenge Island®, brings "Cool Careers Island" to students
Challenge Island®, one of the fastest growing children’s educational franchises, with 80 locations worldwide, is expanding its programming to the New Berlin Elementary Schools. Award-winning Challenge Island® is a cross-curricular enrichment program on the forefront of STEM and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) Education and 21st Century Learning.
The “Cool Careers Island” program will give students a taste of some of the world’s most exciting jobs – from veterinarian to marine biologist to professional basketball player. The Cool Careers Island” program will feature a free demo class where children can attend the first in the seven-week program, and then register for the balance of six programs.
Andrea Davis, owner of Challenge Island® Waukesha-Milwaukee, said, “Challenge Island® is great because while it is a STEM program, it is also about teamwork and collaboration. Each child has a unique skills set that they bring with them to the table, and when the kids are working together in their teams to solve challenges, they learn to appreciate the differences in others. We do not use digital technology in our programs, so the kids are face-to-face and engaging with one another the entire time. Challenge Island® is truly where engineering meets imagination.”

Ronald Reagan Elementary – Feb. 7-March 21 (Grades 3-6) & April 4-May 23 (Grades K5-2)
