Topics this week during city meetingsΒ include:

  • Financial Affairs (November 2, 6:00 pm) will talk about the 2022 Capital Improvement Plan as well as the 2022 Operating Budget, specifically the utilities and capital improvement fund budgets. Additionally Financial Affairs will likely go into a closed session regarding the proposed settlement in the matter of Nora Westcot et al v. City of Wauwatosa.
  • Common CouncilΒ (November 2, 7:30 pm) will talk about:
    • a public hearing on the 2022 Operating and Capital budgets and a public hearing on new wards and aldermanic districts
    • approving a beer and wine license for Midtown Grill
    • approving the 2022 Common Council meeting calendar
    • approving the purchase of stone, sand, and gravel for 2022 requirements from all bidders, based on price, convenience, and availability
    • approving the Wauwatosa Village Business Improvement District's plan for their 2022 operating plan, budget, and assessment
    • approving a proposed settlement in the matter of Nora Westcost et al vs. City of Wauwatosa

Meeting Format

The Common Council passed a resolution to have hybrid city meetings. This means that the elected officials and public may attend in person or virtually, under a few conditions: universal mask use, physical distancing, staying home if sick, and a virtual option for high-risk individuals.
