Topics this week during city meetingsΒ include:
- Board of Public WorksΒ (November 15, 8:30 am) will talk about an encroachment application by Mandel group for the construction of a dumpster enclosure and retaining wall at 10460 W. Innovation Drive, a request by Milwaukee County Transit System to install new signage for Route 31 through the Village of Wauwatosa, and approval of plans for the Blanchard Street Pumping Station Modifications Project.
- Board of Parks and Forestry Commissioners (November 16, 7:30 am) will talk about park improvement projects, volunteer coordination, a presentation of a Master Plan for proposed 116th Street Park, potential modification of reservation and use policies for the 69th Street Plaza, potential recommendation of modifications to park policies, and potential approval of a usage agreement for the Milwaukee Torrent's use of Hart Park Stadium in 2022.
- Committee of the Whole (November 16, 6:30 pm) will hear an update from the Police Department on implementation of the Center for Public Safety Management report.
- Common Council (November 16, 7:30 pm) will have a public hearing regarding new wards and aldermanic districts. They will also discuss:
- removing parking to add bike lanes on N. 68th Street between Honey Creek Parkway and Wisconsin Avenue
- a conditional use permit at 6538 W. North Avenue for an eating establishment (Delicious Bites)
- a land division via certified survey map at 10701 Research Drive
- setting a public hearing date of December 21, 2021 to consider amending portions of Section 24.01.110E - Zoning Map, Split-Zoned Parcels
- setting a public hearing date of December 21, 2021 to consider amending portions of Section 24.16.010 providing for withdrawal of zoning applications by applicants prior to final decisions
- approving the 2022-23 Health Insurance Claims Administration Contract
- approving the 2022 Dental Insurance Contract with Humana
- approving the Stop Loss Insurance Contract with Voya
- approving the TID 6 budget adjustment and a contract with Prism Technical related to the Irgens commercial building development
- approving the 2022 operating and capital budgets
- approving the 2022-2026 Capital Improvements Plan
- approving the contract with Local 1923 Wauwatosa Professional Firefighter's Association for 2021 to 2023
- an ordinance to reflect new ward and aldermanic districts
- a resolution opposing 2021 Assembly Bill 610 and directing staff to communicate opposition to legislators, governor, and others
- a resolution supporting application by Wisconsin Department of Transportation for a consolidated rail infrastructure and safety improvements program grant to study rail corridor safety along the Canadian Pacific rail corridor from N. 63rd Street through the western end of the Harmonee Bridge parking lot

Meeting Format
The Common Council passed a resolution to have hybrid city meetings. This means that the elected officials and public may attend in person or virtually, under a few conditions: universal mask use, physical distancing, staying home if sick, and a virtual option for high-risk individuals.
